The Wall Street Journal Guide to Understanding Money & Investing

Kenneth M.Morris & Virginia B. Morris

This book provides a clear introduction to finance for people who have had little or no exposure to the subject. It is nicely written breaking up the concepts into easily digestible sections and subsections, and can be used as a quick reference. The book starts by introducing the reader to money mechanisms and their impact on the economy, and progresses by describing the range of different investments from stocks to options. The interested reader will have no problem finish this book in a few days having acquired the basic understanding necessary in money and investment to move onto the more quantitative books. The book is highly recommended for the beginners and for people needing a clear and to the point reference on the subject.
